To Create a Password Reset Disk (Windows 7)

It is very useful when:

• Someone change your password
• You forget your password

With a password reset disk, you can easily reset your Windows 7 password.


Requirements:

• Pen drive
• Windows 7

Step1: Go to Start > Control Panel
Step2: Click on the User Accounts and Family Safety.
Step3: Click on the User Accounts
Step4: Click the Create a password reset disk (in the task pane on the left)

Step5: Click Next (When the Forgotten Password Wizard window appears)
Step6: Choose the portable media drive (Pen drive)

Step7: Click Next to continue.
Step8: Enter your current account password in the text box and click Next.

Step9: Click Next (When the progress indicator shows 100% complete)

Step10: Finish
